About Us
Hi there! We’re the Morris family, founders of Sailing Saugatuck and Sailing South Haven. We’ve been sailing charters with our small but mighty 6-pack sailboat, The Margaret Ann, in South Haven, MI since 2010. After years of dreaming and searching for the perfect schooner, we’re excited to finally make the debut of our very own Schooner Serenity in Summer 2019.
With the experience gained and lessons learned from our years running Sailing South Haven, we couldn’t be more proud to add another boat to our fleet. We can’t wait to share Schooner Serenity with folks who call Saugatuck home and also those who come to visit this special corner of Michigan.
About the boat
Margaret Ann is a 37 foot blue water cruiser perfect for getting out on the lake, setting the sails, kicking back and enjoying the ambience of being surrounded by water.
Built in Florida, Gulfstar yachts are known for their stability, safety and comfort— and are most often spotted island hopping in the Caribbean Islands. Margaret Ann has a fiberglass hull with teak trim and a cabin area down below with cozy port and starboard settees.
Why sail with us?
Small group size. Groups are limited to just six passengers so you’ll have plenty of space to spread out once we set sail.
Comfort and safety. The Margaret Ann is outfitted with all essential safety gear, and undergoes regular inspections to ensure everything is in tip-top shape.
Flexibility. Pitch in and help handle the sails or kick back, relax and enjoy the scenery. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-timer, our crew will host an unforgettable sailing experience for your entire group!
BYOB. Many of our guests bring a bottle of wine or a 6-pack to enjoy while on the lake. We also have an ice filled cooler on board for you to keep your beverages cold.
